Hudson River HealthCare (“HRHCare”) is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County HRHCare is currently seeking a full-time Telecom/ Capital Projects Support Specialist Level I to join our team.

 

A Telecom/ Capital Projects Support Specialist Level I supports Hudson River Healthcare's enterprise telecom and network infrastructure.    

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Telecom/ Capital Projects Support Specialist Level I:

  •  Assist in configuring telecom hardware for use in Cisco Unified Communications environment
  •  Assist in configuring and support associated telecom elements, including voicemail, user accounts, and extension mobility ID’s
  •  Assist in configuring and support phone agent environment in Cisco Unified Call Center
  •  Support auto-attendant voice menu development
  •  Support Helpdesk w/ Level 1 and Level 2 telecom issues.
  •  Support Helpdesk w/ Level 1 and Level 2 telecom issues.
  •  Maintain Knowledge Base for Helpdesk Level 1 support for telecom issues
  •  Coordinate equipment deployment with the Helpdesk
  •  Work w/ Network Admins and Cisco support to troubleshoot voice network issues

 

Minimum Education Requirement: High school diploma/ GED

Preferred Education Requirement: Associate's and/ or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields (i.e. Computer Science)

Minimum Work Related Experience: 0 - 1 year

Preferred Work Related Experience: 1 - 2 years

Minimum Licensure: Valid New York State Driver's License

 

Qualified candidate must possess:

  •  Ability to configure telecom hardware for use in Cisco Unified Communications environment
  •  Ability to configure and support associated telecom elements, including voicemail, user accounts, and extension mobility ID’s
  •  Ability to configure and support phone agent environment in Cisco Unified Call Center
  •  Ability to support Helpdesk w/ Level 1 and Level 2 telecom issues
  •  Ability to maintain Knowledge Base for Helpdesk Level 1 support for telecom issues
  •  Ability to coordinate equipment deployment with Helpdesk
  •  Ability to work with Network Admins and Cisco support to troubleshoot voice network issues
  •  Ability to support HRHCare video telecommunication equipment
  •  Ability to troubleshoot Ethernet connectivity issues
