Hudson River HealthCare (“HRHCare”) is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County HRHCare is currently seeking a full-time Senior Systems Engineer to join our team.


A Senior Systems Engineer maintains a strong working knowledge of all Information Technology systems and can administer/support all Information Technology systems. The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the planning and execution of projects that will enable business growth, improve security and integrate with existing systems.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Senior Systems Engineer:

  •  Collaborate on all aspects of infrastructure technology including, but not limited to the servers, network, storage, security, database, and application as required
  •  Build highly scalable and highly available and secure infrastructure utilizing private cloud on VMWare and/or public cloud such as AWS & Azure and/or hybrid cloud
  •  Lead monitoring, capacity management, and provisioning as related to supporting and enhancing large hosted applications and virtualized infrastructures (both converged & hyper-converged)
  •  Administer and configure of Microsoft Infrastructure leveraging primarily Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, InTune/MDM, SCCM
  •  Design and deploy applications that align with the company’s business needs and technical requirements
  •  Compliance with all IT processes, procedures and policies


Education Requirement:  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields (i.e. Computer Science)

Minimum Work Related Experience: 5 - 8 year s

Minimum Licensure: Valid New York State Driver's License


Qualified candidate must possess:

  •  High level industry certifications
  •  Experience with Amazon AWS or Azure in enterprise production environments 
  •  Experience with infrastructure, server, and security troubleshooting and remediation
  •  Experience monitoring the operational status and performance of, and configuring as well as tuning, systems
  •  Ability to administer, configure, migrate Office 365, Azure AD, ADFS, Intune/MDM and MFA
  •  Ability to administer Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy
  •  Ability to administer, configure DNS, DHCP, File, Print servers
  •  Ability to administer, configure and monitor mission critical applications and security systems
  •  Ability to administer, configure backup systems (AWS Backup, Veeam)
  •  Ability to administer, configure storage arrays (NetApp)
  •  Ability to administer, configure and maintenance and monitor Windows servers
  •  Ability to administer, configure virtual infrastructure (VMWare)
